The City of Suffolk continues to ensure the residents of Suffolk receive the highest water quality possible and complying with all State and Federal regulations. To meet future water demands through 2048, the City has implemented plans to ensure that our City water supplies are sufficient to support the economic growth of our community. These efforts along with complying with the Regional Special Order by Consent for the City's sanitary sewer system require expansions and upgrades to your water and sanitary sewer systems. To fund these improvements and to ensure your utility system operates as a self-sustaining enterprise without the use of general tax dollars, effective July 1, 2023 the Department of Public Utilities will implement new service rates as follows.
