Fleet

Administration - manages the department.  Maintains a close working relationship with the citizens of Suffolk and our City Council.

Capital Improvement Projects - Find out about major City projects.

Roadways Division -  potholes, paving, bridge repair, ditch maintenance, litter control, removal of dead animals, permits, and street improvements.

Refuse Division - trash, recycling, special collections, roll off containers.

Suffolk Transit - public transportation.

Engineering/Stormwater Division - construction inspection services and plan review.  Oversees stormwater environmental programs.

Right Of Way - property acquisition services. 

Traffic Engineering - design, install and maintain all traffic control devices.  Responsible for street lights.

Mosquito Control - traps, tests and treats for Mosquitos.

Litter Control - Volunteer information, Recycling Drives, Tire Amnesty, Neighborhood Beautification initiatives.

Fleet Management - ensures that City vehicles and equipment are available, dependable, and safe to operate.
