The functions of the Department of Finance include general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, timely and accurate financial reporting. This office is also responsible for the determination and recommendation of affordable debt levels, the issuance of general obligations and revenue bonds and other short term debt as well as the administration of debt. All financial activity of the City is monitored by this office to ensure the financial integrity and the continued operation of the City Government. These services are provided to City Council, the City Manager, other departments and additional users as needed.
