Intake Service Social Workers respond to all walk-ins requesting information, referrals for services and telephone inquiries. These responsibilities include:
- Receiving Child and Adult Protective Services complaints
- Providing short term services for LearnFare to address truancy issues with TANF recipients who are referred for non-compliance
- Receiving referrals from the Comprehensive Services Act (CSA) Coordinator, CPS, and Financial Services workers for Family & Court Services - Family Stabilization
- Homeless shelter referrals and assessments
- MCV transportation
- Providing Fire and Emergency Assistance
