Payments can be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card at the Treasurer's Office in Suffolk City Hall at 442 W Washington Street in Downtown Suffolk or inside the North Suffolk Library at 2000 Bennetts Creek Park Road, Suffolk, VA 23435. However, mail-in payments, tele-pay payments, on-line payments, and payments via the 24-hour drop box (located in front of Suffolk City Hall) are encouraged.

Convenience Fee Eliminations:

At the recommendation of the City Treasurer, effective July 1, 2021, City Council approved to eliminate all convenience fees for tax payments.  This includes payments made online, over the automated telephone number, or in person via credit card, debit card, or e-check.

Credit Cards

Pay online at www.suffolkvatax.us, using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, AMEX, PayPal/PayPal Credit, and e-check. AMEX will only be accepted for online transactions. PayPal Credit requires a minimum payment of $99.
