Community Policy & Management Team (CPMT)
Suffolk Community Policy and Management Team, also known as the "Suffolk Interagency Team", acts as the community policy and management team for the City in cooperative effort to serve the needs of troubled and at-risk youth and their families, and to maximize the use of state and community resources in that effort.

HRPDC staff gathers and interprets data about the Hampton Roads area regarding transportation, environmental, physical planning and economic issues for the municipalities it serves.

Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization
The Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) is the body created by the Hampton Roads localities and appropriate state and federal agencies to perform the duties of a Metropolitan Planning Organization under the federal regulations.

Health & Human Relations Committee
The Health and Human Relations Committee consists of a representative from the City Manager's Office, the City Attorney's Office, the Western Tidewater Health Department, the Department of Social Services, the Western Tidewater Community Services Board, the Welfare Advisory Board, the Substance Abuse and Youth Council, the Library Board, and the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Historic Landmarks Commission
Review board for the historic and cultural conservation districts of the City.

Human Services Advisory Board
To be interested in all matters pertaining to the social welfare of the people in Suffolk, making recommendations to the Department of Social Services, to develop an annual report for the City Council concerning the administration of the Department of Social Services and submitting reports to Council from time to time as appropriate.
