Independence Day Holiday - Suffolk City Offices are Closed

In observance of Independence Day, Suffolk City offices will be closed Friday, July 3, 2020. Operations will resume Monday, July 6, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. Please note, however, that the majority of City of Suffolk facilities, as well as the Treasurer’s Office and the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office inside City Hall and their satellite offices at the North Suffolk Library, remain closed to the public until further notice due to the impacts of COVID-19.
There will be no changes to the refuse collection schedule for Friday, July 3rd. TFC Recycling will also conduct their normal recycling collection routes on Friday, July 3rd. The Suffolk Public Works Department reminds residents that trash must be placed at curbside no later than 7 a.m. on the day of collection. Suffolk Transit will operate as normally scheduled on Friday, July 3rd. Suffolk Transit will not operate on Saturday, July 4th.
