Election Day Holiday - Suffolk City Offices are Closed

In observance of Election Day, Suffolk City offices will be closed Tues, Nov 3, 2020. Normal operations will resume Wed, Nov 4, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. Please note, however, that majority of City of Suffolk facilities, as well as Treasurer’s Office & Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office inside City Hall & their satellite offices at the North Suffolk Library, remain closed to public until further notice due to impacts of COVID-19. The City observes all State-designated holidays. Election Day was added as a holiday for the Commonwealth of Virginia this year, and State offices are closed on this day.
There will be no change in the trash collection schedule the period of November 3rd through November 6th as the Suffolk Public Works Department will pick up trash as regularly scheduled. TFC Recycling will also conduct their normal recycling collection routes. For more information, call Public Works at 757-514-7630.
Suffolk Transit will run as scheduled on Tuesday, November 3rd.
