The Cedar Hill Cemetery, located at 326 North Main Street, will be closed until further notice to all foot and vehicle traffic due to a number of downed trees caused by heavy winds.

This closure is necessary to repair damages and to prevent injury as further damages may occur while there are still gusts of high winds. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and High Wind Warning through Saturday morning.

This closure is expected to last until approximately Wednesday, March 7, 2018, so that paths may be cleared and damages assessed and repaired.  We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause for those who wish to visit loved ones’ graves.

Should you have any questions, please call Sheril Davenport, Cemetery Superintendent, at 757-514-7632.
