Weekend Work Project to Close Portion of West Washington Street

Due to a scheduled work project by Dominion Energy, West Washington Street between Saratoga Street and North Main Street will be closed with a detour between 10 p.m., Saturday, September 21 and 8 p.m., Sunday, September 22.  The work is to replace two faulty transformers.

Dominion advised the City of Suffolk that this work will require the power to be turned off in this area starting Saturday evening. Dominion noted that efforts have been made to notify affected residents and business owners.
