UPDATE

SUFFOLK, VA (December 28, 2019)  Suffolk Department of Public Utilities Line Maintenance notes that the water will be off in the 1400 to 2200 blocks of North Main Street for this emergency water main repair. The water is expected be off from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. disrupting water service to 22 businesses and some residences (Edgewood Avenue, Northgate Lane, and Longwood Avenue) along the noted corridor.

Water Service Disruption – North Main Street

SUFFOLK, VA (December 28, 2019) Suffolk Department of Public Utilities Line Maintenance Division has responded to a water main break in the 1200 block of North Main Street today, Saturday, December 28, 2019. One lane of northbound traffic is currently closed due to the incident.

Water service interruptions are anticipated to be from the 800 to 1700 blocks of North Main Street. Repairs are expected to extend through the day. Public Utilities staff will be notifying affected businesses.
