Suffolk Public Works advises that as required by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), your input is requested on the Draft Local Bacteria TMDLs Action Plan. The City of Suffolk has updated this Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Action Plan as required by its General Permit for Discharges of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (Phase II MS4 Permit). The Draft Action Plan can be found on the City website at https://www.suffolkva.us/264/Total-Maximum-Daily-Load-TMDL.

The comment period is open from Friday, April 10, 2020, through Monday, April 27, 2020.  Comments may be submitted by email to actionplancomments@suffolkva.us or by mail to the Department of Public Works, Attention: Erin Rountree, 442 West Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434 by Monday April 27^th, 2020.
