[ARCHIVED] Tuesday August 4th Refuse Collection Rescheduled

Suffolk Public Works and TFC Recycling have rescheduled refuse collections for Tuesday, August 4, 2020, due to severe weather associated with Tropical Storm Isaias forecast to impact our area early Tuesday morning.

These precautions are being taken so citizens can have advance notice not to place their refuse containers curbside this evening, Monday, August 3rd, to avoid potential damage with blowing containers and debris.

Service that was previously scheduled for Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday, with a resulting one-day delay for the balance of the week, with Friday’s service being picked up on Saturday, August 8th.  As a reminder, trash must be placed at curbside no later than 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
