Suffolk Public Works advises that they will be holding a Design Public Meeting regarding the Nansemond Parkway/Wilroy Road Overpass this evening, Thursday, November 5, 2020, at John Yeates Middle School, 4901 Bennetts Pasture Road, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

The purpose of this meeting is for the City to display the design to the public and present an opportunity for citizens to provide feedback. City staff will be present and available to answer questions and receive feedback on the project.  A Public Notice regarding this scheduled meeting was also previously published in local newspapers.

In keeping with Governor Ralph Northam's mandates due to COVID-19, the wearing of face masks and social distancing measures will be practiced at this public meeting.  The meeting will be held outside and will include several displays in order to maintain required social distancing, and one display will be provided on a hardtop surface.  For special assistance for persons with disabilities or limited English proficiency, contact Frank Grubbs, Project Manager, at 514-7684, or Public Works Engineering at 514-7725.
