[ARCHIVED] SUFFOLK PARKS & RECREATION RE-OPENING FITNESS CENTERS SERVICES

Suffolk Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the reopening of services at East Suffolk Recreation Center and Whaleyville Recreation Center beginning May 29, 2021. 

 

Fitness center free weight areas and gymnasiums will be restored to full use for normal building operating hours. If you’ve been waiting for a chance to play basketball or pump iron, now you can!

 

Fully vaccinated participants are not required to wear a mask in the facilities. All individuals not fully vaccinated should cover their mouth and nose with a mask in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. We request that anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms refrain from entering the facility. Where possible, individuals should attempt to maintain social distancing guidelines within the facilities.

 

Fitness Center memberships for residents are $10 per month for adults, $7 per month for teens, and $5 per month for seniors ages 55 and up. All Fitness Center members must also possess an Active Annual Recreation Center membership.

 

The East Suffolk Recreation Center is located at 138 South 6th Street. The Whaleyville Recreation Center is located at 132 Robertson Street.
