SUFFOLK SEEKS CITIZEN INPUT IN RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR POLICE CHIEF
The City of Suffolk is seeking input from the public as they move forward in the recruitment process for the next Police Chief.
City Manager Albert Moor noted, “I encourage members of the public to get involved in the process and to share their thoughts about the qualifications and characteristics that they feel the ideal candidates must have. Input from the public is a vitally important part of this process, and will help ensure we find candidates whose experience and qualifications best align with the needs of our City.”
In preparation for the recruitment process, citizen feedback is requested. Using the following link, https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/COSCOMMUNITY, please tell us your desired preferences for the next Police Chief. The information provided by citizens and Police Department staff will be used in the selection brochure and posted nationally on LinkedIn, Indeed, ICMA, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. The survey will close on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 11:59 p.m.
