[ARCHIVED] SUFFOLK CITY OFFICES OPENING AT 10 A.M. ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 4


City of Suffolk facilities will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 due to the potential impact of winter weather overnight tonight into Tuesday morning.

 

Refuse and recycling collection will run as normally scheduled on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Suffolk Transit will also operate on a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 4th

 

Public Works will be monitoring roadways overnight tonight into Tuesday morning with particular attention on bridges and elevated structures. Staff encourage motorists to be vigilant with any driving tonight as well as in the morning and limit travel to necessary trips. To report roadway issues, citizens can contact Public Works at 757-514-7600.
