[ARCHIVED] STAY INFORMED WITH SUFFOLK ON THE ALERT

STAY INFORMED WITH SUFFOLK ON THE ALERT

Formerly known as “Reverse 911”, the Suffolk on the Alert notification system provides citizens alerts regarding potential hazards, emergencies, weather events, and other City information such as events, cancellations, and notices. This program is highly recommended for any Suffolk citizen who does not have Verizon land line service in their residence. This program will work on any phone service, mobile and land line that you may have.

Registering for this program is the only way that the City can ensure you receive any emergency notifications that may be sent out from the City and the Emergency Communications Center, and as witnessed by recent flooding events in Texas and with pending Hurricane Irma, these notifications could be critical in the event of potential hazardous weather. Citizens who enroll have the ability to specify which non-emergency notices they want to receive, if any, and in which manner they want to receive the notices.

Non-Suffolk residents that work in our City may also wish to register for this free service to make sure that they stay informed.

To enroll, visit the self-registration portal at https://suffolk.onthealert.com
