Fall Leaf Canoe Tour at Lone Star Lakes Park

Join Suffolk Parks & Recreation as we take you on a canoe tour through beautiful Lone Star Lakes Park to view the changing colors of the surrounding woods.

See the park like you’ve never seen it before as you leisurely paddle the water that winds through habitats of several different species of birds, fish and other wildlife.

The tour will meet up at Lone Star Lakes Park’s Butler Tract, located inside the park at 401 Kings Highway, and the program will last from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Age for participation is 6 and older. The cost is $10 per person, and there are three people per boat. Space is limited.

Registration ends October 23rd. The event will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017. For further information, please contact Christian Prohaska, Outdoor Recreation Specialist, at (757) 514-7281.
