Generally, commercially-available pet foods are of fairly high quality. Nearly all of the large pet food companies produce diets with all of the necessary vitamins and minerals, as well as foods that are very tasty to your pet. The addition of table scraps is rarely helpful to your pet's overall health, and may actually be detrimental.
