  2. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING – ROUTE 17/BRIDGE ROAD AND SHOULDERS HILL ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

    February 12, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Creekside Elementary School

    The Suffolk Public Works Department has scheduled a public informational meeting regarding the proposed intersection improvements at Route 17/Bridge Road and Shoulders Hill Road from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Creekside Elementary School, 1000 Bennetts Creek Park Rd . Although there will not be a formal presentation, City staff will be available to receive public input and directly answer individual questions about the project. The meeting provides an opportunity for any individual, association, citizens’ group or governmental agency to offer written and verbal comments for the project record. Exhibits will be provided for review. City representatives from Suffolk, as well as design consultants, will be present to answer questions. Project information, including environmental documentation, will also be available 15 days prior to the Public Hearing at the office of Public Works Engineering located in Suffolk City Hall, 442 West Washington Street, 2nd Floor.
