  1. Active Adult Senior Aerobics Class

    June 25, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

    The next session of Active Adult Senior Aerobics will be at East Suffolk Recreation Center June 4-July 11. This class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Registration is $12 per session, or $2 drop-in fee. This class focuses on floor aerobics which may help to increase your mobility, balance, strength, and flexibility. Instruction includes stretching, general conditioning, step aerobics and toning. This class is a great way to start or maintain your healthy lifestyle.

  1. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT COMMUNITY KICK-OFF MEETING

    June 25, 2019, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ City Council Chamber

    If your civic league, homeowner’s association, neighborhood watch group, business or church hasn’t already started plans to get involved with National Night Out this year, the time to act is NOW! A community meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at City Hall, 442 West Washington Street. Groups will be able to officially sign-up to be included in this year’s festivities to give crime in Suffolk a “going away party”, door prizes will be awarded, and attendees will hear firsthand from public safety officials the importance of police-community partnerships. This year’s NNO celebration will take place on Tuesday, August 6th.
