All motor vehicles (including cars, trucks, motor homes and motorcycles), boats, airplanes, trailers and manufactured homes normally kept in the City of Suffolk are subject to personal property taxes. Currently, the City of Suffolk sets the value of these items at 100 percent of average loan value according to the N.A.D.A. Pricing Guide and the ABOS Marine Blue Book for boats as of January 1.
