An ordinance levying real property taxes for the tax year beginning July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006 – First Reading

19. Public Hearing – Appeal of Planning Commission determination in regard to Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area Exception Request EX7-04, submitted by Ronald E. Carter of Hoggard-Eure Associates, P.C., on behalf of Phillip M. Privette, property owner, for an exception to permit the reduction of the 100 foot Resource Protection Area buffer down to 55 feet for the construction of an in-ground pool located at 9139 River Crescent. The property affected is further identified as Tax Map 5C(2), Parcel 70, Chuckatuck Voting Borough, Nansemond Taxing District, Zoned RL, Residential Low Density District.

20. Public Hearing – Conditional Use Permit Request C25-04, submitted by Ronald and Rene Midgette, property owners for an accessory dwelling unit in accordance with Sections 31-306, 31-406, and 31-701 of the Unified Development Ordinance

21. Public Hearing – Conditional Use Permit Request C2-05, submitted by T. Kirk Pretlow on behalf of William W. Jones, Jr., property owner, for the location of additional farm structures in accordance with Section 31-802(A) of the Unified Development Ordinance

22. Ordinance – An ordinance requesting the transfer of maintenance responsibilities for all public roadways within the Nansemond Taxing District to the City of Suffolk for perpetual maintenance; and establishing the roadway Maintenance Advisory Commission (Substitute Amendment)

23. Motion – A motion to schedule a Work Session for May 4, 2005, at 4:00 p.m., unless canceled.
