- A resolution requesting the General Assembly to amend the Charter of the City of Suffolk to provide for the direct election of the Mayor

- An ordinance amending Chapter 26 entitled “Elections” of the Code of the City of Suffolk, Virginia, changing the election of Councilmembers and School Board Members from May to the General Election in November

13. Public Hearing - A resolution requesting the General Assembly to amend the Charter of the City of Suffolk to grant it the authority to hold referenda elections

14. Motion - A motion to schedule a Work Session for November 15, 2006, at 4:00 p.m., unless canceled

15. Late Appearances - (Late appearances are limited by Section 2-96 of the City Code to give (5) minutes per speaker. There is no limitation on the total time period for late appearances).
