
Council Member Jeffrey Gardy has been a member of the Suffolk City Council since 2006, representing the Holy Neck Borough. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/History. Council Member Gardy graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond.
Council Member Gardy is a member of the Western Tidewater Water Authority and the Virginia Municipal League Environmental Policy Committee.
Council Member Gardy has practiced law in the City of Suffolk from June 1966 to present. He is a member in good standing of the Virginia State Bar Association and Suffolk Bar Association.
He serves on City Council’s Land Use, Housing, and Transportation Committee and is the Planning Commission Liaison.
