Council Member Charles D. Parr, Sr. has been a member of the Suffolk City Council since 2006, representing the Suffolk Borough.
He also serves as the City’s liaison to the Industrial Development Authority, the Western Tidewater Regional Jail Authority, the Suffolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and the Virginia Municipal League Human Development and Education Policy Committee.
He also serves on City Council’s Economic Development and Land Use, Housing, and Transportation Committees.
Council Member Parr is the owner and manager of Parr Funeral Home. He is an active member and supporter of many civic, professional, church, and community organizations.
