Case Management System

case_mgt_system.jpgIn 1999 Suffolk became one of the first 5 out of 121 jurisdictions statewide to implement the new VCAIS Case Management System. This case management system won the Governor's Award in Technology for government agencies and was specifically designed for Virginia Prosecutor's Offices.

The Suffolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office has assisted in the training of other jurisdictions in setting up the system in their localities.

Technology

technology.jpgThis office uses technology both in and out of the courtroom to enhance the presentation of evidence to Judges and Juries. As a result, it is easier for those determining guilt or innocence to better understand the evidence and it maximizes this office's effectiveness in the courtroom.
