Our Vision Statement: It is the duty of the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office to pursue justice and protect the rights and safety of the citizens of Suffolk. While our job is to prosecute crimes, our goal is crime prevention. Our vision is to enhance the quality of life in Suffolk by taking a pro-active role in preventing crime, prosecuting with integrity, equality and excellence, and protecting the community by effectively dealing with those who prey upon our citizens.

Our Mission Statement: The mission of our office is to enhance public safety and welfare and create a sense of security in the community through the vigorous enforcement of criminal laws in a just, honest, compassionate, efficient and ethical manner. Our office works with every component of the criminal justice system and the community to protect the innocent, to convict and appropriately punish the guilty, and to protect the rights of victims and witnesses.
