Council Member Donald Z. Goldberg was elected to the Suffolk City
Council in November 2014, and was sworn in on January 2015, as the
representative of the Suffolk Borough. His term expires on December 31, 2018.
Experience
Council Member Goldberg graduated
of Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is currently
with Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate where he specializes in
Business Development and Economic Development.
Community Involvement
Council Member Goldberg is active in various community and civic
organizations including Opportunity, Incorporated and the
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Board of Trustees. He is a Past Member of the
Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission, the State Chamber of
Commerce, the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts and the Virginia State
Company.
He currently serves on the Western Tidewater Water Authority and City
Council's Economic Development Committee and Human Services and Land
Use, Housing and Transportation Committee.
