Emily E. McLaughlin is a member of the General District Court Team. Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary. She received her Juris Doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, graduating magna cum laude with several awards for trial advocacy and as a member of the Order of the Barristers. Emily has been a prosecutor for her entire career, beginning in Prince William County, where she was a member of the regional Narcotics Task Force and taught numerous related courses at the Prince William County Criminal Justice Academy. Emily specializes in violent crime, narcotics trafficking, arson, and criminal street gang prosecution. In her spare time, Emily enjoys outdoor sports/activities, volunteering, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
