Project Status ... Overview

The City of Suffolk has been working to implement a Geographic Information System over the last several years. A timeline for the project from 1997 - 2005 is shown in the graphic below.

As the timeline indicates, the first 4 years of the project were spent analyzing the data available to support the implementation, determining the best method for implementation and assembling the resources necessary to assure project success.
