The Course
Located in the heart of Tidewater and just thirty minutes from the downtown tunnel and Newport News, Sleepy Hole Golf Course has long been a local
favorite. The traditional-style golf course was
renovated in 2003 and
was recently recognized by Golf Digest as
the eighth most affordable public golf course in
the nation. Enjoy wide, playable tree-lined fairways, beautiful landscaping, immaculate greens and well-placed bunkers. The Historic Obici House overlooks the 18th Hole, rated the "most challenging in Hampton Roads," on the banks of the beautiful Nansemond River. Built by Suffolk's Adopted Son (and Planter's Peanuts founder) Amadeo Obici and renovated in 2011, The Historic Obici House is the perfect place for special events such as wedding receptions, reunions and meetings.
