KidsZone

Desiring a playground for the entire community of Suffolk, a group of citizens banded together in 1999 to begin planning. Once the groundwork was laid, the committee held a contest among Suffolk's elementary schools to "name the playground". After receiving hundreds of entries, the committee chose "KidsZone", submitted by Kathryn Minga's second grade class at Mount Zion Elementary.
