Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.
Pre - Registration is required in order to attend this event.
Registration Form! Please print, fill out and return to the Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices located at 134 S. Sixth Street, the East Suffolk Recreation Center or any our joint-use facilities located at Suffolk Public Schools.
The Suffolk Teen Summit serves as an expansion of a variety of prevention activities and programs developed as a part of the Suffolk Initiative on Youth Crime Prevention Plan. This dynamic conference will engage youth ages 11 to 17, along with parents and adults that work with youth, in interactive sessions on topics such as Teen Dating, Eating Healthy and Living Well, Bullying, Understanding the Impact of Social Media and Music, and the Importance of Volunteerism.
This event is free and open to the public. Lunch is included and pre-registration is required. There will also be a career and college fair onsite to provide information on educational resources!
A Block Party is scheduled to kick-off the Suffolk Teen Summit on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina located behind the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront. Join us for music, live entertainment, food and giveaways.
