The Water Production Division is responsible for the production and quality of the City's potable water. This division operates the City's G. Robert House Water Treatment Plant which includes a conventional surface water treatment process and a groundwater treatment process. In addition, the division operates two community well systems within the villages of Whaleyville and Holland.

The Water Production Division's responsibilities include:

• Providing a high-quality water supply to the citizens of Suffolk on a 24 hour a day basis
• Maintaining and operating all of the City's water supply, treatment, and storage facilities
