Erosion & Sediment Control

Currently our department provides plan review services related to stormwater runoff and Erosion and Sediment Control for new commercial and residential developments occurring within the City. Additionally, staff also reviews any required plats for matters related to stormwater concerns. When construction begins the inspection staff works to ensure that the plans are implemented as designed and that all applicable regulations related to these items are followed. These items include but are not limited to, Erosion and Sediment Control measures, the installation of all items associated with the storm sewer system as well as the construction of the public road network.
