The Refuse Division provides weekly refuse collection in the City of Suffolk. Please take a moment to review our 9 minute Trash Collection Instructional Video (29.13mb .wmv file) for details on proper trash placement and disposal.

Containers for automated collection may be leased for a one-time fee of $60.

The City will collect a pile of debris not exceeding 8 cubic yards in volume (the equivalent of a pile equal to: 6 foot by 6 foot by 6 foot). Lawn services and contractors are responsible for removing the yard waste they generate.
