As a citizen, one of the most important things you can do to make a difference in your community is to stay informed. Knowing what is going on in your community is the key to making informed choices. At the Suffolk Police Department we provide a number of ways for you to do this. One is our Community Crime Mapping Program. Click on the link below and you will be able to receive up to date crime information for your community.
Another way to stay informed is to subscribe to Nixel. Nixel is a free of charge service that allows you to get city news releases, updates from the city, and emergency alerts. This information comes to either your cell phone or your email. It is an excellent way to know what is happening around you. Click on the below link to subscribe.
