Dog Park


Set back in the woods of Lake Meade Park, the Dog Park offers a natural area for you and your dog to play, exercise and make new friends.

Amenities include:

  • State of the art agility equipment
  • Two large, separate, enclosed spaces for small dogs (less than 30 pounds) and large dogs (greater than 30 pounds)
  • Doggy waste stations
  • Natural shade and soft grass
  • Easy access to the Lake Meade walking trail
  • Pet water station

In order to access the Lake Meade Dog Park, dogs must be registered through Suffolk Parks & Recreation. There is a $10 registration fee per dog, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered. Dog Park registrations are valid for one year and must be renewed annually to maintain membership. Visit our Administration Office at 134 South Sixth Street, with Proof of Vaccinations and City Dog License to register.
