Suffolk Parks and Recreation is home to some of the region's most beautiful parks and glistening waterways. Among the many acres of parks available to choose from, Suffolk is home to four regional parks that truly are a jewel in Suffolk's crown. Lone Star Lakes Park, Bennett's Creek Park, Sleepy Hole Park, and Lake Meade Park all lend themselves to unique yet great outdoor fun and activities.

Suffolk Parks offer several outdoor recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike to enjoy. They include:

We offer picnic shelters for your spring and summer family get-togethers and birthdays (available on a first come, first serve basis unless reserved; call 757-514-7250 to reserve or for more information)

Summer Programs

Our parks hosts summer programs like O.A.K. (Outdoor Adventure Kamp), several large special events such as Stars and Stripes Spectacular (Suffolk's official July 4th Celebration), the TGIF Concert Series, 5k walk/runs, and more are all held within Suffolk parks.

Observed Holidays

During City observed holidays, the parks remain open but are unstaffed. We encourage everyone to visit one or all of our beautiful parks, meet our knowledgeable Park Rangers and staff, and see for yourself why Suffolk is a great place to rec-reate!
