Electoral Board Meeting Public Information

Regular monthly Electoral Board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Meetings take place at the Registrar's Office located at 440 Market Street - First Floor, Suffolk, VA 23434.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval by the board. Both can be found on the City of Suffolk Agenda Center. During the monthly Electoral Board meetings, there will be an opportunity for individuals to address the Board. The time designated will be during the Public Comment portion of the meeting.

Public Comment Speakers

The Public Comment portion of the Electoral Board meeting is reserved for individuals to address the Board about any item appearing on the meeting agenda or any non-agenda topic. The Public Comment portion of the agenda is limited to 30 minutes. Each person desiring to address the Electoral Board as a Public Comment speaker shall be allotted five minutes unless there are more than six speakers, in which case the allotted time will be divided equally. A person may only speak once at a meeting under the Public Comment section of the agenda.
