New Years Day Holiday - Suffolk City Offices are Closed

In observance of the New Year’s holiday, Suffolk City offices will be closed Wednesday, January 1, 2020 and will reopen on Thursday,
January 2, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. January 1 - January 4, 2020, trash collection will run on a one-day delay; Wednesday’s route on Thursday, Thursday’s route on Friday, and Friday’s route on Saturday. TFC Recycling will follow the same holiday schedule. Businesses located in the Downtown Business Overlay District (DBOD) will remain on a regular schedule with collection days on Tuesday and Friday. Trash must be placed at curbside no later than 7 a.m. on the day of collection. Christmas trees and boxes will not be counted towards the 12 free special collections. December 26, 2019 - January 7, 2020, Public Works will collect Christmas trees and boxes as a special collection. The trees and boxes will need to be placed at the curb the same day as the residence’s regular collection. The trees do not have to be secured and the boxes do not have to be collapsed.
