Do I need a permit for a shed/gazebo?
Yes, along with an Application for Services, a survey of the property; showing where you are going to put it on the property and Health Department Approval (135 Hall Avenue), if you have septic or well on the property. Then you can apply for a permit for the structure. If stick built, you will also need a typical wall section form, picture/diagram of the structure and an accessory form.
The Application for Services, Typical Wall Section Form and Accessory Forms can be found at Community Development, 442 West Washington Street or online.
